Central Ohio Subarus

Who is Central Ohio Subarus?

Nathan joined the Columbus Subaru community in the fall of 2001, when he bought his 2000 Impreza 2.5RS. He created small meets-ups at Speeds GoKart Track in Reynoldsburg. There were about six of people there. There was Nate E., Mike A, Ed, and a few others.

He started growing the group through what was then called I-Club (now NASIOC). He would post in the Mid-West forum, much like we do now and plan events. He started adding everyone in the area to his “friends” list on I-Club. The list grew fairly quickly. Every time an event was in the works, he would painstakingly invite each member through clicking each members PM or e-mail. Wow that was a real pain.

Eventually he started the Yahoo Group Central Ohio Subarus. This was so he could send everyone an e-mail without clicking each person’s name in I-Club. The group had grown rapidly. He added a special member, his wife Trisha, in 2002.
