Retiring the Forum
Since 2003 we have had a very active forum. It has served us well, and we used it for MANY things. Planning events, sharing photos, and other various modes of online conversation.

By June 30th, we will retire the forums for new membership and will make them public for research purposes.
Facebook implemented groups a couple years ago and they have since replaced forum life as we know it.

We will be making the forums an archive and as such will be retiring the forums for new membership.

We encourage you to like the facebook page and join our VERY active COS Group.

The blog will also become the main page and probably updated a littel more regularly by myself.

As with all things we must grow to keep up with technology.

Thank you for being part of our lives and joining us in this next chapter of technology!

Dreamhost did what we feared would happen, while they were in the middle of this big hardware replacement, we tried fixing it ourselves to get things back up and running quickly, but alas now that things are finally finished on thier end, they restored to a broken area again.

COS Downtime

We are terribly sorry for the downtime. Something has happpened with our database that i cant fully recover right now.

Our Host Dreamhost has posted this in my control panel.

During this process, the data on the backup server will be mounted directly over NFS to allow your hosting services to remain online for the duration of the process. However, if your site isn’t functioning as expected, please let us know, so we can look into it!
There will likely be intermittent high load fluctuations on the server due to this restoration, which is caused by the large amount of data being sent to the server. Our admin team will be closely monitoring the server to see what they can do to improve performance on this server while the restore completes.

SUBARU Australia managing director Nick Senior will travel to Japan this week to take part in talks over what the next incarnation of the brand’s rally-bred, high-performance WRX and STI products will be like when they arrive in around 18 months’ time.

Mr Senior will join delegates from some of Subaru’s international markets to discuss whether the next-generation WRX and STI will continue with the formula of “a quite hard edge in terms of style, design and performance” or become a more “European sports sedan in the mould of M series or AMG”.

The next WRX and STI will be distanced from the standard Impreza sedan and hatch that were launched in Australia last week, as was initiated when Impreza branding was dropped from the updated wide-body WRX in September 2010 and with the new separately-branded XV crossover that arrived here in January.

Although Subaru has considered further distancing the WRX and STI from the Impreza sedan and hatch by developing a variant that would have a similar relationship with the Impreza as the Volkswagen Scirocco does with the Golf, Mr Senior said he and the factory were not keen on losing the versatility of the sedan and hatch body styles.

“The factory has given the indication that they do not want to lose the edge that the WRX and STI have been associated with and established over the last 18 years,” he said.
